Ulduar

One of the things I always wanted to do since I first heard about it, was to kill Algalon. That starry-eyed jerk has been a thorn on my side for far too long. But thanks to a random invite to an Uld run from my new guildies, Kava is, at last, the titled druid she deserves to be. Not only that, but I got a fancy achievement as well!

I’ve also started my herald set, the guild master is planning to go for the “Herald of the Titans” achievement, which I must admit I’m excited about. It’s one thing to kill Algalon in my t10.5 healing gear, it’s another thing to do it purely with skill.

The fight really is one of the best Blizzard has designed, at least from an aesthetic point of view (though it sure is hard on the ol’ fps.). The ceilings look like paintings from a gothic opera house, and the voice acting of Algalon really is first rate. I would easily put this as one of my top five favorite fights.
